OUR Benefactors
Our Shoes started as a simple idea to provide shoes to children less fortunate by giving pre-loved shoes a second life. At that point it was an idea, that grew into an initiative, that became a charitable cause. Since then, we have had a staggering 35,000 pairs of shoes donated in total, with 20,000 donated in the last 2 week campaign alone.
The children benefiting from these donations are aided by some amazing organisations who we are proud to support and aid.
Masi Sports
This is the human story of helping the schools in Masiphumelele transform their children, teenagers, their families and the community through sport, life-skills training and education.
JAG Foundation
Beginning 15 years ago, the JAG foundation has focused on sustainable change in high-risk communities in South Africa. Utilising sport and play as educational tools to impart life skills and offer children in these communities an alternative lifepath to gangsterism, drugs, and abuse.
VUSA
Vusa provide support and mentorship for children in the Langa community through structured academic, sports, feeding and extramural programmes, ensuring they have access to skills and opportunities to improve their lives.
CATCH TRUST
The CATCH Trust Foundation aim to create and maintain sporting and life-skill ecosystems in township and low-income areas where the lack of adequate facilities and coaching limits young players’ potential to develop their talent, social skills and character.

CoolPlay’s programme and projects contribute to achieving gender equality and reducing inequality as participants develop critical social & emotional skills, which help them achieve more in life.

The School of Hard Knocks is a non-profit, sport-for-development organisation, based in South Africa. Delivering three evidence-based programmes to youth and adults, we tackle trauma and improve emotional wellbeing.
UBUNTU FOOTBALL
At Ubuntu, they give a unique opportunity to boys and girls that are talented but have no opportunity to be developed as a whole person.
They help them unleash their full football and academic potential and in doing so, have created platforms for them to enter into that would give them influence.
Mellon educate
Every year, Mellon Educate organises their now renowned “building blitz” trip to Africa for volunteers from all over the world to travel and lend a helping hand building better school infrastructure in poor African communities.
